The Urban Services division is one of the most important divisions within Urbaser. It includes municipal waste services, street and beach cleaning, and management of landscaped areas.

These are very sensitive services, which have a direct impact on the quality of life of millions of citizens around the world, whether in Madrid, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, London or Paris.

Urbaser manages more than 23 million tons of solid urban waste per year and keeps more than 45,000 kilometres of streets clean worldwide, an activity for which it employs more than 20,000 people who serve more than 59 million citizens.

Urbaser has the ability to efficiently collect any type of urban or industrial waste, using all the systems available on the market. Urbaser is a pioneer in the use of clean energies (gas, electricity) and in computer systems to control services in real time. Read more

Urbaser manages the Green Zones Maintenance Service in several of the main Spanish cities, in Madrid, Catalonia, the Basque Country, Castilla la Mancha, the Canary Islands, the Valencian Community. At the international level, the city of Buenos Aires stands out, where the company manages 10 million m 2 of parks. Read more
